About
Hi, I’m Eric. This blog is a hobby where I want to share helpful ways I’ve found to think about the environment with people who don’t commonly think about it. My thoughts are drawn from my studies and work over the years. I studied environmental biology at Westmont College and did a master’s in taking care of the environment (a.k.a. “environmental management”) at Duke University. My work has taken me from the Costa Rican jungle, to the Channel Islands National Park, to the rivers and streams of California and Oregon. I’m currently helping with scientific research to reduce greenhouse gas and water pollution caused by fertilizer in agriculture.
